Arch Bishop Anthony Chance Sr.
Like unto Abraham, the Lord said unto Anthony Chance Sr. “Leave your own country behind you, and your own people and go to a land I will guide you to. I will cause you to become the Father of a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great, and you will be a blessing to many others. I will bless those that bless you and curse those who curse you. And the entire world will be blessed because of you.” (Genesis 12:1-3)
Anthony Chance Sr. was born on November 16, 1974 in the town of Williamston, North Carolina. His family relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, when he was three years old. Anthony Chance Sr. received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost and water baptism in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of seven years old in Baltimore, Maryland, while a member of First Apostolic Faith Church Bibleway Worldwide Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland, under the pastorship of Apostle Cornelius Showell.
In 1996 the Spirit of the Lord led him to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he was appointed a Youth and Young Adult Minister, and he served for seven (7) years, and then he was Ordained an Elder on October 31, 2004 by Bishop Daniel Pelgram of Landford Ministries of the Apostolic Faith Inc., located in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
In 2005 Elder Chance took the Right hand of Fellowship at Eastern Star Holiness Church of our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith Inc. (COOLJC) Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, under the pastorship of Elder Kirk D. Crowder. Elder Crowder also recommended Elder Chance to the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the same year.
In 2005 the Lord wrought a work on the wheel in Elder Chance's life. “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again—another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it” (Jeremiah 18:4) This was truly a year of fiery trials and suffering for this man of God. He weathered the storm, and in 2006 the Lord sent Elder Chance to Zebulon, North Carolina, to start his ministry.
In 2018 Bishop Daniel Pegram of Landford Ministries, Consecrated Elder Chance bishop in the Lord’s Church on the 15th day of July in 2018, the year of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through God’s grace, Bishop Anthony Chance Sr. is God’s chosen leader of Antioch Outreach Ministries of the Apostolic Faith and was under the reformation of the late Presiding Prelate Bishop James E. Wiley Jr. United Churches of Deliverance Apostolic Inc. Henrietta, NC.
In 2022 Bishop James E. Wiley Jr. received His wings and the Lord called this great man of God home and he transcended and took his rest. In 2023 the Lord spoke to Bishop Chance to start his own reformation, where he was elevated to the office of Archbishop and founded the Antioch Holy Covenant Churches Of The Holy Faith Inc.
